Job Description
The Managing Director IME will lead and guide the Independent Medical Education division of Succinct Communications to grow the division to be a best in class provider of independent and accredited medical education. They will have extensive experience in global IME/CME and will have previously held a similar role within a company providing independent and accredited medical education. They will have a proven track record in leading teams that produce practice changing medical education as measured against Moore’s levels of medical education outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Recruit, grow and retain top talent
- Develop and foster relationships with key stakeholders including financial supporters, accrediting bodies, societies and key opinion leaders on a global level
- Oversee the division’s financial performance ensuring healthy growth and profitability
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory bodies including ABPI, and all appropriate accreditation bodies (for accredited programmes)
- Work with executive leadership, internal stakeholders and other company employees to ensure state of the art programmes (both live and digital) are conceived and implemented and deliver measurable outcomes
- Represent the organisation as a thought leader within the industry, by making public presentations, sitting on steering committees and other public relations activities

Skills / Experience
Essential Experience – applicant MUST have ALL of the following:
- Held managing director position of IME and/or CME company(ies) that create and manage global programmes both in Europe, USA and APAC
- Experience with accrediting programmes under both ACCME, and EACCME requirements
- Responsible for individual IME and/or CME programmes with revenues in excess of £500K
- Experience leading digital IME and/or CME programmes
Qualifications
- Masters level degree or above in Education and/or Science
